Grace and Anthony are married!!!
On a beautiful Fall November day, Grace and Anthony got married at Shepherd’s Run in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Grace originally loved this wedding venue for its romantic feel, and the fact that it is also a winery (wine girlies, you get it). She loved the vineyards, the venue itself, and all the little characteristics that set this location apart from others. Shepherd’s Run was the perfect backdrop for the most beautiful wedding day.
Grace and Anthony stayed on the property the night before – a huge plus to the venue and the perfect way to start their wedding weekend. In the bridal suite on the morning of, Grace’s mom helped her into her stunning Eva Lendel wedding dress, and finally her necklace, earrings and shoes. The simple and elegant jewelry choices, alongside her hair in a piled twist and natural makeup, was perfection and so much fun to photograph creatively. I also photographed some of their wedding day details including vow books, the invitation suite, jewelry, perfume and flowers, and then took some final detail photos of Grace’s completed look before she left to meet Anthony before the ceremony.
Grace wanted her entire wedding day to feel natural, with nothing forced or posed. She wanted every part of her day to feel authentic to who they are as a couple, especially the first time she was going to see her soon-to-be husband. With this in mind, we told Anthony that he would be heading outside for his First Look with Grace, but what we didn’t tell him was that Grace was already waiting right outside the door for him. He opened the door and his reaction was everything: so pure, so real and genuine. They shared a few minutes together and privately read their tear-filled vows before celebrating with their wedding party and heading into the ceremony.
Shepherd’s Run has a beautiful, unique outdoor ceremony location on site, and it was Grace’s brother who officiated! The ceremony was emotional, in the best way, and so sweet. Immediate after, they stopped for a quick drink and we all made our way to the vineyard for the most incredible November sunset. Grace and Anthony ran up and down the vineyard, and then their friends came to join and soak in the sunset. It was like a scene out of a movie, truly. Finally, we all headed over to enjoy cocktail hour and spent the night enjoying a wild dance floor, wedding cake and endless chocolate chip cookies. If anyone needs me, I’ll just be over here reminiscing on this day for the rest of time.
