Gianna and Ben have been together for 8 years, and these engagement photos really do show it. When we were discussing what she wanted her engagement photos to look like, it was so important to Gianna to document their life as it is right now because she knows that it’s temporary. So we did exactly that. We started the session at their home in Boston, MA where we met their cutie pup, Willie, and took him out for their daily walk. As we were walking, all of a sudden it started to snow. I’m not even kidding, it was like a Hallmark movie. We danced and played and ran around in the snow until we couldn’t feel our hands, and we decided to move on to our final location. Gianna and Ben live in the cutest area in Southie – enough “city” to call it Boston but somehow still within minutes from the beach. So that’s where we went. All bundled up, we ran around in the sand and smiled so much our cheeks hurt. It might have also been from the windburn, but we didn’t care. They kept each other warm and these photos make me smile. Before our shoot, Gianna’s words were, “we are just overall very weird,” and I considered this my permission to put them in all kinds of positions and situations where I got to document their candid, real and absolutely adorable love for each other. Counting down the days until I get to do it all again with them for their wedding day!
