Working with all different kinds of couples and meeting new people are some of the best parts of my job. More often than not, my couples become my friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I met Mikaela and Angel for the first time right before our engagement session here at Crane Estate, and Kae said to me, “We will literally do anything you tell us to!” So I was immediately excited to create something new, but it honestly just meant so much to me that she trusted my vision to bring their images to life. It was so much fun to be to just be there to capture what already existed.

So, we did it all. We started on the walkway and took our time as golden hour made its appearance. We talked about life and their destination wedding plans, how they met and how he proposed. Fun fact, they actually met in a wedding party! She was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsman, and just like in the movies, the rest was history. Once we made it onto the sand, we completely let go and had the time of our lives. There were shoulder rides, belly laughs, soft moments and smile lines. Dry clothes turned to wet clothes turned to sandy clothes. I delivered an insane amount of images in their session gallery because I just couldn’t let any of them go. They all meant something.

These photos make me happy because this is who they are together. They are entirely themselves and they praise each other for it. They bounce off each other, hype each other up, make fun of one another and love each other with everything they have. I have never laughed harder during a session than I did this day, and I literally don’t know what else to say other than I seriously love them and these are some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken.
