Where do I even start? Alexandra and Marc. From the friend zone to the end of the aisle.
The second I started chatting with Alexandra, I could tell we were destined to work together. We talked often about her vision: Oceanside, elevated, chic, sun, laughs, art, candids, easy. Lots and lots of love. She truly became my friend throughout this process and when I showed up on her wedding day, she greeted me like one of her best. I can’t put into words how much that means to me, but it’s honestly just her outpouring and giving personality that I appreciate so deeply. Alexandra and Marc started off as friends and clearly became something so much more. They call each other higher, laugh together, travel together and recently got a puppy together! I feel so lucky to watch so many wonderful lives unfold before my eyes. So, onto the wedding day!
Alexandra envisioned a clean getting ready space with plenty of natural light. Her mom helped her into her wedding dress, which had the most beautiful silhouette and stunning pearl sleeves. Her hair was in a sleek updo framing her obvious natural beauty, and a pearl veil was placed over her bun. Truly exquisite.
Their ceremony was framed by the Newport bridge, ocean, and green grasses of summer. The sun was out for almost the entire day until cocktail hour, when fog overtook the venue. It was such a cool feel as we all transitioned from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to their reception indoors. It also made for the most beautiful lighting during our time taking photos. It was the best of both worlds! We celebrated with toasts and cake and so much dancing. Our hugs goodbye were the best kind of bittersweet.
Here is their elegant and chic wedding at Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island.
